Acceptable Use Policy

This policy applies to all members, visitors, and users of Heritage Table, regardless of membership tier. It works alongside our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.

You may use Heritage Table to:

• Build your professional or business profile and connect with other members.
• Share knowledge, resources, opportunities, and experiences honestly and constructively.
• Participate in forums, groups, events, and mentorship relationships.
• Access and post resources, project collaborations, and community content.
• Use AI-assisted tools for your own personal and business development.

The following are strictly prohibited on Heritage Table:

• Harassment & hate: Targeting individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age, or veteran status.
• Misinformation & fraud: Posting false, deceptive, or misleading content, including fake reviews, scam offers, or impersonation.
• Spam & unsolicited promotion: Repeated unsolicited messaging, mass self-promotion unrelated to the community, or chain messages.
• Illegal activity: Promoting or facilitating illegal goods, services, or activities.
• Intellectual property violations: Posting content you do not own or have permission to use, including copyrighted materials, trademarks, or trade secrets.
• Privacy violations: Sharing another person's private information without consent (doxxing).
• Malware & security threats: Attempting to disrupt, hack, or compromise the platform or other users' accounts.
• Misrepresentation of credentials: Claiming professional licenses, certifications, or verifications you do not hold. Heritage Table verification badges must not be falsified.

All content you post — including profiles, posts, messages, forum threads, resource submissions, and project files — must be accurate, lawful, and relevant to the Heritage Table community. You retain ownership of your content but grant Heritage Table a license to display it on the platform as described in our Terms of Service.

Violations of this AUP may result in content removal, account warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent account termination, at Heritage Table's discretion. Serious violations may be reported to law enforcement. Our automated moderation system and community reporting tools help identify violations. You may appeal a moderation decision through our contact page.

If you encounter content or behavior that violates this policy, use the report button available on posts, profiles, and messages, or contact us directly. We review reports promptly and take appropriate action.

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy as the community grows. Significant changes will be communicated through the platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
