Terms of Service

You must provide accurate, current information when registering and keep it updated. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use Heritage Table. You may not transfer your account to another person without our permission.

Heritage Table offers free and paid membership tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis until you cancel. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you retain access until then. We may change pricing or introduce new tiers; existing subscriptions are honored at the rate in effect when you subscribed unless you choose to change plans.

Certain features are gated by membership tier. The feature matrix and any usage limits are described on our pricing page and may be adjusted by administrators. We reserve the right to limit, suspend, or modify feature access for abuse or non-payment.

As a community member, you agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, fraudulent, or deceptive content.
• Harass, threaten, discriminate against, or harm another person.
• Share content that is unlawful, infringes intellectual property, or violates others' privacy.
• Upload malware, spam, or automated scrapers without authorization.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the platform or its systems.
• Use the platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.

You retain ownership of content you create and post on Heritage Table. By posting, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute your content within the platform as needed to operate and improve our services. You represent that you have the rights to share any content you post and that it does not violate the rights of any third party.

We may review, edit, restrict, or remove content that violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines. We may suspend or terminate accounts that engage in serious or repeated violations. Moderation may be assisted by automated tools, including AI-based screening, and is subject to human review. Our moderation decisions are made in good faith to protect the community.

Heritage Table offers optional verification (email, phone, identity, business, license, certification, community partner). Verification indicates that we have reviewed certain information you provided; it is not a guarantee of character, competence, or the accuracy of any business claim. You are solely responsible for your own due diligence when interacting with other members.

Heritage Table helps connect members but is not a party to any agreement, transaction, or relationship formed through the platform. We are not responsible for the conduct, quality of services, or fulfillment of any member. Any dispute you have with another member is between you and that member. Reviews and ratings reflect members' subjective experiences and do not represent our opinion.

The Heritage Table platform, including its name, logo, design, software, and content we create, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our platform without permission. Member-generated content remains the property of its creator under the license in Section 4.

Heritage Table is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any information, recommendation, or AI-generated output will be accurate or suitable for your needs. You use the platform at your own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Heritage Table and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of or inability to use the platform, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the preceding twelve months.

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ends. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will remain in effect.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. We will notify members of material changes. Your continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
