How memberships, subscriptions, and cancellations work on Heritage Table.
Last updated: September 13, 2026
This policy explains how Heritage Table membership subscriptions work, how to cancel, and what to expect regarding refunds and billing.
Heritage Table offers a free Community tier and four paid monthly membership tiers: Founding Member ($7.99/mo), Heritage Member ($9.99/mo), Heritage Pro ($24.99/mo), and Heritage Business ($49.99/mo). All paid memberships are recurring subscriptions billed monthly through Stripe until you cancel.
Legacy subscribers on previous pricing plans ($29/mo or $289/yr) retain their existing rates and billing cycles. Legacy plans are not automatically migrated to new pricing.
You may cancel your paid membership at any time from your Profile → Membership & Billing page, or through the Stripe Customer Portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain full access to your membership benefits until then.
After cancellation, your account automatically reverts to the free Community tier. All your data — profile, posts, connections, messages, and saved items — is preserved. You simply lose access to paid-tier features until you resubscribe.
Monthly subscriptions: Because you retain access through the end of your billing period, Heritage Table does not issue partial refunds for the remaining days of a cycle after cancellation. You are not charged again after cancellation.
Accidental or duplicate charges: If you were charged more than once for the same billing period due to a system error, contact us through our contact page and we will refund the duplicate charge.
Service interruptions: If a significant platform outage prevented you from using paid features for an extended period, contact us and we will evaluate a prorated credit on a case-by-case basis.
You may upgrade or downgrade between paid tiers at any time. Changes are processed through Stripe with prorated billing — you are charged or credited only the difference for the remaining days in your billing cycle. Stripe calculates the proration automatically, and you will see the exact amount before confirming.
If a recurring payment fails, Stripe will attempt to retry the charge. During this period, your membership status shows as "Past Due" and you retain access while retries are attempted. If payment cannot be recovered, your subscription will be canceled and your account reverts to the free Community tier.
Members on legacy pricing plans are not affected by the introduction of new tiers. Your subscription continues under your existing Stripe Price ID and billing terms. You may voluntarily switch to a new tier at any time, but you are never required to do so.
