The values that keep Heritage Table a safe, helpful, and welcoming place for everyone.
Last updated: September 7, 2026
Knowledge belongs at every table. No question too small. No background required. These guidelines describe how we treat one another so that Heritage Table remains a space where anyone can seek information, advice, and a helping hand — and where those who've walked the path can lend a hand to the next person.
Treat every member with dignity, regardless of background, experience, or identity. Assume good intent. Give help freely when you can, and ask for it when you need it — that exchange is the heart of this community.
Share knowledge openly. Mentor when you can, and stay open to learning from others. Every member has something to teach and something to learn. Approach differences with curiosity rather than judgment.
Represent yourself and your business truthfully. Don't exaggerate credentials, outcomes, or affiliations. If you share an opinion, label it as such. Verified badges reflect that we've reviewed certain information — they are not a guarantee of quality or character.
Don't share another member's private information without consent. Don't use the platform to harass, threaten, stalk, or harm anyone. Respect people's boundaries in messages and interactions.
Don't post unlawful content, infringe others' intellectual property, or use Heritage Table to facilitate illegal activity. Follow the laws that apply to you and to the communities you serve.
The following may result in content removal or account suspension:
You can report content that violates these guidelines using the report option on any post, message, or profile. Our moderation team reviews reports, and we may use automated tools — including AI-assisted screening — to help identify potential violations. Content that clearly violates these guidelines may be removed, and accounts may be restricted or suspended for serious or repeated violations.
Moderation decisions are made in good faith to protect the community. If you believe a decision was made in error, you may appeal through our support channel.
