Inclusion in the Heritage Table professional directory does not constitute a referral, endorsement, or recommendation by Heritage Table. A listing means the professional has a profile on the platform — nothing more. Members must independently evaluate any professional before engaging their services.

Directory listings are categorized to help members understand the level of verification:

• Directory Listing: A self-created profile. Heritage Table has not independently verified the professional's credentials, licenses, or claims.
• Verified Professional: The professional has submitted evidence of credentials (licenses, certifications, business registration) and Heritage Table has reviewed the submission. Verification confirms the credential exists; it does not guarantee service quality.
• Heritage Partner: The professional's organization has a formal partnership with Heritage Table. See our Partner Disclosure for details.

Heritage Table's verification process is limited to reviewing submitted documentation. We do not conduct background checks, verify insurance coverage, or audit professional conduct. Professionals holding licenses (attorneys, contractors, real estate agents, etc.) are licensed by their respective authorities, not by Heritage Table. Members should verify license status directly with the issuing authority.

Using Heritage Table or contacting a professional through the platform does not create an attorney-client, doctor-patient, or any other professional relationship. Such relationships are formed only through direct engagement and mutual agreement between you and the professional, under their own terms and engagement letters.

Reviews and reputation scores on professional profiles reflect other members' experiences and are moderated for authenticity. However, reviews are subjective opinions, not guarantees of your own experience. Heritage Table is not liable for the accuracy of member-submitted reviews.

Any dispute arising from engaging a professional listed on Heritage Table is strictly between you and that professional. Heritage Table is not a party to such engagements and bears no responsibility for the professional's services, conduct, or outcomes.

If you have a serious concern about a professional listed on Heritage Table — including fraud, misrepresentation, or professional misconduct — pleasecontact us or use the report function on the professional's profile. We take such reports seriously and may remove listings that violate our policies.
